Globe Theatre Society Board of Directors is currently seeking new Board members to join our team as we embark on an exciting phase in the Globe’s history – the redevelopment of the Prince Edward Building. We are looking for dynamic, community-minded, committed individual with a range of skills and experience to lead the Globe through this critical phase in its history. 

Currently, we are particularly interested in candidates who have experience in:

  • the theatre and arts sector
  • financial management expertise
  • knowledge of capital development projects
  • legal expertise
  • fundraising.

In addition, Globe Theatre is committed to taking action to improve diversity, inclusion, and equity in our Board and within the practices, policies, and services of the theatre. Accordingly, Indigenous applicants and applicants with diverse backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply and will be prioritized.

The Globe Theatre, a not-for-profit organization, is embarking on a $45 million capital campaign to support the redevelopment and refurbishment of one of Regina’s most beloved heritage buildings.

The Globe Theatre Board of Directors comprises leaders from the non-profit, for-profit and community sectors who are dedicated to the organization’s overall strategic plan.  Our Board members champion the importance of exceptional Board leadership, and members are provided with an opportunity to contribute their knowledge, energy, and commitment to supporting the organization.

In addition to the standard roles and responsibilities of a Board member, our Board members are active advocates and ambassadors for the organization and are engaged in identifying resources and partnerships necessary for Globe Theatre to advance its mission.  Serving on the Globe Theatre’s Board of Directors is an exceptional opportunity for an individual who is passionate about enhancing the production of theatre-in-the-round, entertaining, educating and engaging and expanding our reach in the community, and strengthening leadership and governance in the not-for-profit sector.
