The Patron Services team work to inspire and oversee the creation of outstanding patron interactions and customer service experiences with the goal of strengthening and enhancing Globe Theatre’s customer service promise, deepen and enrich the live theatre experience for current patrons, donors, volunteers and community

Description & Summary

The Patron Services Volunteers are responsible for coat check and ushers for the theatre’s productions in conjunction with Patron Services team. This is a part-time seasonal volunteer position with hours that are mostly evenings and weekends from September to June. 

Duties

  • Provide outstanding customer service to patrons at the assigned location. 
  • Assist with coat check, programs, seating and any special needs of patrons. 
  • Assist in keeping the theatre environment tidy and orderly including lobby, pre-show & intermission 
  • Tidy theatre environment post-show 

Qualifications

  • Great customer service skills 
  • Ability to stand & walk for up to 60 minutes
  • Ability to help patrons navigate stairs 
  • Ability to problem solve & communicate 
  • A passion for the arts
