Zarqa Nawaz is an award-winning writer, producer, novelist, and broadcaster best known as the creator of the hit CBC sitcom Little Mosque on the Prairie, which aired for six seasons and was sold to more than 65 countries. She is also created, and starred in the CBC Gem comedy ZARQA, and is the author of the bestselling memoir Laughing All the Way to the Mosque and the novel Jameela Green Ruins Everything. Mosque Heist marks her stage play debut.
