William is recently retired from the University of Regina Theatre Department where he taught technical theatre, lighting design and stage management for 22 years. He has designed lighting and worked as a technician in Western Canada for 50 years. Highlights were winning a Betty Mitchell Award for Outstanding Lighting Design (Calgary) for NiX and a Jessie Richardson Award for Outstanding Achievement in Design (Vancouver) as a member of the design team for Nothing But Sky.
