Sky is a proud father of two boys who he dedicates all his work to. He is the founder and Artistic Director of mêtawê theatre, a new Indigenous theatre company based out of Treaty 4. Sky just finished an artist residency with Sâkêwêwak First Nations Artists’ Collective Inc. where he wrote a new play titled, acimowin, that will be performed at the Sâkêwêwak Storytellers Festival in February 2024. In March 2024 he will be taking the stage alongside his son Leslie in his play titled, mêtawêmin.
