Sierra Haynes is an award-winning artist from Treaty 4 Territory (Regina, SK), now based in Toronto, ON. Primarily working in theatre, her recent credits include directing The Raft (Studio 58); A Tonic for Desperate Times (Theatre Gargantua); The Red Priest and composing for/assistant directing The Drowning Girls (Guild Festival Theatre). Sierra hosted Globe Theatre commissioned podcast Stage Write: The Playwright’s Podcast, and served as Apprentice Dramaturg at Banff Centre’s 2024 Playwrights Lab. She has acted for film and animation, and was a Series Writer on AMI-tv’s comedy series The Squeaky Wheel: Canada. She is grateful to The Globe Theatre for bringing her home for the holidays with her family! Sierra is a proud graduate of Studio 58.
