Misty Wensel (she/her) is a Saskatchewan-based dance artist who creates from a place of instinct and pulse; responding intuitively to music, movement, and the energy of shared experience. With FadaDance Troupe, recent works include Holloway (2023) and the land-based film weight of our feet (2023–24), currently featured in the MacKenzie Art Gallery’s Memory of Trees exhibition. As a solo artist, she is known for her Kathak-infused work developed under the mentorship of Joanna de Souza (M-Do, Toronto).  As Artistic Director of FadaDance Studio, she has spent over two decades inspiring dancers and creating performance opportunities locally and abroad. Recently returning to teaching at Miller High School, she continues to root her practice in story—creating through it, teaching with it, and drawing inspiration from it.
