Bad Hats Theatre’s Peter Pan
Marcus Merasty (he/they) is Nehiyaw/Woodlands Cree dance artist from Pelican Narrows, SK, and currently based in Regina, SK. He trained in The Professional Program of The School of Contemporary Dancers in Winnipeg, MB, graduating in 2021. Marcus’ passion lies in exploring Indigenous and contemporary dance, with a focus on creation and performance. A past artist-in-residence at New Dance Horizons (NDH), his most recent dance performances were at NDH’s 2024 Stream of Dance Festival. Peter Pan will be Marcus’ premiere show with the Globe Theatre. Upcoming: Marcus will be performing for the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra in January 2025.
