Kevin is the founding Artistic Director of Indigenous Theatre at the National Arts Centre of Canada. Kevin is an Actor, Director, Producer and Playwright. He has performed for the stage, big and small screen, radio and animation. This is his first time being at the Globe Theatre. He was a previous Playwright in Residence and a company member of the English Theatre Acting Company at the National Arts Centre. He co-wrote, co-produced and co-hosted the award-winning feature length documentary Canyon War: The Untold Story. He is a recipient of the 2009 Governor Generals Literary Award for Where the Blood Mixes and the 2010 Governor General’s Performing Arts Award Mentorship Prize. As well he has garnered numerous other awards and nominations for theatre across the country. He is also the founder and Artistic Director of Savage Society, a not-for-profit production company dedicated to telling Indigenous stories. Kevin is N’lakapamux from the Lytton First Nation in British Columbia.
