Katie Blackburn-Dust Katie Blackburn-Dust (she/they) is an emerging theatre artist from Treaty 6 territory. She holds a BFA in Acting from the University of Saskatchewan, though loves to wear many hats in theatre – including stage management, lighting design, and arts administration. Recent projects include: This is How We Got Here (Apprentice Stage Manager, Persephone Theatre), Jonas and Barry in the Home, Jack and the End of the World, The Curst (Stage Manager – Dancing Sky Theatre). Katie was honoured to receive the Outstanding Emerging Artist Award at the 2022-2023 Saskatoon and Area Theatre Awards. When not in the theatre, you can find Katie obsessing over some Star Trek or somewhere on a horse. She sends love and thanks to her family (including the 4 legged ones) for their support.
