Hanne Loosen
Hanne is excited to make her debut with Globe Theatre as well as to design in the round for this unique venue. She is a set and costume designer living and working in Calgary. She grew up in Belgium and got a BA from the Academy of Visual Arts Maastricht in The Netherlands and an MA in Scenography at the Technical University Berlin.
In Calgary, she has worked with Theatre Calgary, Alberta Theatre Projects, Vertigo Theatre, The Shakespeare Company, Calgary Opera, Verb Theatre, Lunchbox Theatre, Ghost River and others.
Outside of Calgary she has designed for Persephone Theatre in Saskatoon, The Citadel in Edmonton and she is a regular guest at the Shaw Festival in Ontario where she has spent five seasons designing. Her design work can be viewed online at www.hanneloosen.com
