Buckle up for a wild night of gore, gasp-laughs, and galvanizing rock ‘n’ roll. A beloved, made-in-Canada cult favourite, Evil Dead: The Musical puts a hilarious twist on the tried-and-true cabin-in-the-woods story, treating audiences to a bloody blend of outrageous comedy and high-energy tunes. When five college friends unwittingly unleash demonic forces during their weekend getaway, terror and toe-tappers overtake the stage. 

Inspired by the 80’s cult classic films, Evil Dead: The Musical is a Canadian-made masterpiece of mayhem and a treat for fans of the franchise and horror aficionados in general. Book tickets for you and your friends in the “splash zone” and show us what you’re made of!

Welcome to the Splash Zone 

Things are about to get insanely gory, and extremely… washable. 

Evil Dead: The Musical is most famous for its over-the-top bloody effects, and yes, the Globe Theatre’s production will proudly carry on this gloriously messy tradition! 

For our production, the notorious ‘Splash Zone’ has been tested to include all seats in Rows 1–4 on the Rawlinson Main Stage. Thanks to our unique theatre-in-the-round setup, there will be a variety of angles to get willingly caught in the crossfire. 

Sitting in the Splash Zone means you may be splattered, sprayed, or fully drenched in theatrical blood (as is tradition). Exact splash levels may vary from performance to performance because every spray, splatter, and perfectly timed burst of theatrical blood comes with its own dramatic flair. While the ensuing chaos is carefully planned, theatrical blood has a way of making each performance uniquely different.  (All the more reason to see this show again and again! 😉) 

How to Prepare! 

Dress for the occasion
Wear your whites, denim, thrifted finds, or anything you would proudly take home as a bloodstained souvenir. A thrifted wedding dress? Yes, iconic – we want to see it!  

Bring your own poncho / rain gear
Regular rain ponchos also work great for blood rain too!

Moving your seats
Not everyone wants to leave the theatre looking like they survived a cabin in the woods, and that’s completely fair. If you have already been seated in Rows 1–4 and would prefer a less splashy experience, please contact the Box Office and we’ll be happy to help you move. *

This show is recommended for ages 16+. Sunday matinee performances are recommended for ages 13+.
