Summer lab is back!

Looking for a creative place to play this summer?

Our awesome two-week* sessions explore devised and scripted theatre in a way that’s fun and memorable for all ages and experience levels. The Summer Lab is an uplifting and inspiring experience, and an amazing opportunity for young artists to spend two weeks in a consistent and creative setting with other awesome people.

Our Theatre camps are the perfect space to connect, relate, and create!

Summer sessions

Teen acting // AGES 13-16

July 8th – July 19th 2024 | 2-Week Session |

Monday-Friday: 9:30 – 3:30 pm

Instructor: TBD

Cost: $575+ GST

About: This ensemble-based course propels teen students to rely on their peers as partners, collaborators and new friends. This is a class for students interested in exploring art with their peers. Working closely with professional artists, students are encouraged to creatively explore and expand their perspectives. Each group will use scripts, improvisation, writing, movement, sound, and each other to prepare a new piece of theatre. There will be a share for friends and family on the final day.

*Note: this class is open to a wide age range

These are empowering sessions designed to help young humans joyfully find and appreciate their own creative voice. Each group will use scripts, improvisation, acting, writing, sound, and each other to create an original piece of theatre. There will be a share for friends and family on the final day.

musical theatre cabaret camp | ages 11-15

One-Week Session: July 22nd, – July 26th |1-Week Session |

Monday – Friday | 9:30 am – 3:30 pm

Cost: $300+ GST

About: In this exciting new singing and acting based camp, kids will pick and prepare a solo or duo song from the musical theatre canon, and write a monologue to introduce their song. Students will also perform one-two group songs. The cabaret art form is a personal form of expression where performers speak about what’s important to them…through song! Come and sing sing with us this summer!
