The Opportunity

The fractional CFO serves as the senior-most financial strategist for Globe Theatre, providing high-level oversight, financial leadership, and forward-looking guidance to the Artistic & Executive Directors, senior leadership team, and Board.

As Globe Theatre enters a new chapter in its organizational growth following the revitalization of MacCorquodale Place, this role will help strengthen and modernize the organization’s financial infrastructure while supporting long-term sustainability, strategic planning, and operational resilience.

This position is designed for a seasoned financial leader who is energized by complex environments and understands the unique balance between artistic ambition, public investment, earned revenue, and community impact. Working at the intersection of commerce and culture, the Fractional CFO will help guide financial decision-making in a way that supports both organizational health and artistic excellence.

Working closely with internal finance staff and external partners, the CFO will provide strategic oversight across cash flow management, capital planning, reporting, forecasting, and financial governance. The role focuses on insight, accountability, and long-range planning rather than day-to-day bookkeeping or transactional accounting.

This is an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to one of Canada’s leading regional theatre organizations at a pivotal moment of evolution and renewal.
