History and Information About the RCMP Charity Ball

Since 1991, the RCMP Depot Division selects a local charity to host an annual fundraising event in the distinguished RCMP Academy Drill Hall. The annual RCMP Charity Ball attracts over 400 of Regina’s community and business leaders. All the proceeds of the event are used to further the cause of the chosen charity.

Globe Theatre

Globe Theatre’s mission is to entertain, educate and engage people in the art of professional theatre by offering high-quality performances to audiences, professional theatre training for artists, and classes for children and adults.

Globe Theatre School

The Globe Theatre School was established in 2006 with the goal of providing Saskatchewan youth of all abilities with the opportunity to participate in the arts. The focus of the Globe Theatre School is to create inclusive classrooms for youth from diverse backgrounds and with different abilities. Using multi-disciplinary theatre tools, Globe Theatre School classes support communication skills, assist with socialization and build confidence.

PlaneGlobe Theatre School Educational Development Fund

Increasingly, we are experiencing more demand for Globe Theatre School programming than we have the capacity to properly resource and sustain.  Profits received through the RCMP Charity Ball will be allocated to an Educational Development Fund which will offset the costs of Globe Theatre School programming on an annual basis over time. In an effort to create sustainable arts education programming that is accessible to students experiencing financial, cultural, language and social barriers and inclusive of those with special needs, this fund will ensure that Globe Theatre can be responsive to the current and changing needs of our community.

To continue enriching lives – educating, engaging and inspiring – we need your help.
