Six Dance Lessons In Six Weeks
By Richard Alfieri
Directed By Ruth Smillie
It’s hate at first sight when Lily, an uptight, elderly widow, hires flamboyant dancer, Michael Minetti, to give her private dance lessons in her home.
Michael quickly discovers Lily knows all the steps and simply wants a dance partner. But Lily never bargained for such an angry man with such a vicious sense of humour. Soon, their dance moves melt the ice and an unlikely friendship develops. Lily drops her guard. Michael grows up. Together they lose themselves in the dance of love, laughter and life.
Sing like no one is listening, dance like no one is watching and buy tickets like they will sell out – because this one likely will. Part comedy, part drama and part cha-cha-cha.
