Trying

By Joanna McClelland Glass
Directed by Gerald Lenton-Young

Oct 19, 2005 – Nov 5, 2005

Globe Theatre is thrilled to feature this latest drama by Saskatchewan’s own Joanna McLelland Glass, one of Canada’s foremost playwrights.

Based on Ms. Glass’s true life experience, Trying is a humourous and touching battle between a 25 year old secretary and an 81 year old former U.S. Attorney General. It’s a story about growing up, and growing old. Her aging employer, Francis Biddle, shows us how not to go gently into the night. He shows us how to fight, to the end, for ideas that matter.
