Globe Theatre Society Board of Directors is currently seeking three new Board members to join our team as we embark on an ambitious project in the redevelopment of the Prince Edward Building. We are looking for dynamic, community-minded, committed individuals with experience in management, marketing and communications, finance and technology, etc. to help us steward this project to success.  At this time, we are particularly looking for those with experience in theatre and the arts, financial expertise, redevelopment, and fundraising. This voluntary role will provide you with a challenging and rewarding opportunity to contribute your skills, experience and talent, and make a difference in the community we serve.

Globe Theatre is a national centre of excellence in the production of theatre-in-the-round and in fostering the work of Saskatchewan artists. Globe Theatre provides live theatre that captures our imagination and connects us to a diversity of human experiences and voices that challenge our attitudes, values and beliefs, and deepens our understanding of humanity. Globe Theatre, a not-for-profit organization, is embarking on a $30 million capital campaign to support the redevelopment and refurbishment of one of Regina’s most beloved heritage buildings.

The Globe Theatre Board of Directors comprises leaders from the non-profit, for-profit and community sector who are dedicated to the organization’s overall strategic plan. Our Board members champion the importance of exceptional Board leadership, and members are provided with an opportunity to contribute their knowledge, energy and commitment in supporting the organization.

In addition to the standard roles and responsibilities of a Board member, our Board members are active advocates and ambassadors for the organization and are engaged in identifying resources and partnerships necessary for Globe Theatre to advance its mission. Serving on the Globe Theatre’s Board of Directors is an exceptional opportunity for an individual who is passionate in enhancing the production of theatre-in the-round, entertaining, educating and engaging and expanding our reach in the community, and strengthening leadership and governance in the not-for-profit sector.

If you are interested in this exciting opportunity to give back to your community by guiding the future direction of the Globe Theatre, please contact Cindy at to receive a nomination package for your completion. Nominations will be accepted until Wednesday, May 20,2020.

We thank all applicants for their interest in serving on the Globe Theatre Board, however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
