It's a happy homecoming for Salt Baby at Globe
Jeff Dedekker of the Leader-Post interviews Salt Baby Director, Yvette Nolan and cast member who plays the title role, Dakota Hebert. Together, these women describe why Salt Baby is a must-see, and a relatable tale for anyone who has struggled with their own self-discovery.
From the Shumiatcher Sandbox Series, to the Globe Theatre Main Stage, Salt Baby is a heartwarming and humorous look at one woman's struggle to find her place in society.
While Salt Baby does tackle tough issues like racism and colonialism, Dakota says "Laughter is the best medicine. [The show] is very thought provoking, but it is also really funny . We're just a bunch of goofballs on stage."
