A Spoon We Are NotCreated and performed by FadaDanceOctober 22-31, 2009 |

A salad fork, a tuning fork, a fork in the road. Different prongs, different pathways. Spiderweb cracks on a window.
A singular point with infinite possibilities meets the singular dance troupe with infinite personality. Welcome to A Spoon We Are Not, the latest sensory adventure from the audacious and audience-thrilling FadaDance.
Heather Cameron, Fran Gilboy, and Misty Wensel bring their vibrant physicality and street-dance intensity to the choreography of fork-ness. Have your senses and potential senses ready: the audience is always a part of a FadaDance experience, and with Hallowe'en 2009 in the air...hey, whose pitchfork?
FadaDance fuses together three distinctive dance and choreography styles, and refuses to travel down any one road for too long. That's what will make every performance of A Spoon We Are Not a never-to-be-repeated event: a universe in which the absurd rubs shoulders with the sinister, the comical casts a sidelong glance at the tragic. Music, visual art, and the tasty morsels on the ends of the forks will lend additional colours to the palette.
It's an exploration of the tines of our lives. You don't want to miss any tour guided by FadaDance.

The Shumiatcher Sandbox Series at Globe Theatre showcases the work of Artists who continually challenge the boundaries of theatre, dance, and multidisciplinary performance.
For this season, Artists were invited to propose their own work for presentation on stage. Of the many candidate projects, Six (6) proposals engaged our senses, our passions and our curiosity. It is these Six (6) works that we are proud to offer in the 2009|2010 Shumiatcher Sandbox Series.
Each of these productions is a deeply personal story, told from a uniquely passionate voice, and backed by a team of talented theatre professionals
a Story of Exploration
a Story of Tragedy
a Story of Environment
a Story of Discovery
a Story of Loyalty
a Story of Innocence
We can hardly wait to see these projects alive on stage.
Come and have your own passion ignited.
