GLOBE THEATRE VIP CONTESTS
RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Program Description/Eligibility

This promotion is only open to legal residents of Canada who are 18 years of age or older. Employees of Globe Theatre and any of its affiliates and advertising agencies and the immediate family (parent, child, sibling or spouse of any of the foregoing) or household members of each are not eligible to enter.


2. How to enter

A. All those who purchase a ticket with a VIP promotion will be automatically entered in the contest stated on the card.  When providing your ticket information you will need to include your first and last name, city, province, postal code, and email address. All requested data must be provided for your entry to be valid. No responsibility is assumed by Globe Theatre for lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete submissions or any computer, on-line telephone or technical malfunctions that may occur in the processing, transmission or receipt of entries. Limit of one entry per ticket holder.

B. No purchase necessary. To enter without purchase of a ticket, a 500 word essay describing one of the six plays of the current main stage season must be submitted to the Globe Theatre Box Office, 1801 Scarth Street, Regina before the last run date of the show that the VIP promotion corresponds to. The essay must include your first and last name, city, province, postal code and email address. All requested data must be provided for your entry to be valid. No responsibility is assumed by Globe Theatre for lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete submissions or any computer, on-line telephone or technical malfunctions that may occur in the processing, transmission or receipt of entries. 

3. Winner Selection/Prize

There will be one winner.

The prize-winner will be selected at random from eligible entries received prior to the contest closing date. Chances of winning are dependent on the number of eligible entries received. In order to be declared a winner, selected entrants, will be required to correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question, sign a declaration and release form verifying compliance with the rules and regulations, and the acceptance of the prize as awarded.  All required conditions finalizing the declaration of a winner must be completed within 15 business days of the draw or the declaration is withdrawn and a second eligible entry will be drawn and will be subject to the same conditions. All answers to the skill testing question are final and if incorrect then the selected entrant is no longer eligible to receive the prize.

The prize must be accepted as awarded and is not redeemable for cash. The prize is non-transferable. Globe Theatre reserves the right to substitute a prize which is, in its sole opinion, of equal or greater value in the event that the original prize becomes unavailable for any reason whatsoever.

4. General Conditions

The promotion is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws.

All entrants are deemed to have read and agreed with the promotion guidelines and conditions and releases the promotion sponsor and the prize provider and their agents from any and all liability resulting from the award and any use of the prize.

The contest entrants agree to the use of their name and likeness in any publicity by Globe Theatre, its promotion sponsors or its advertising agencies without further permission or compensation, including without limitation, publication by Globe Theatre of the promotion winners.

There will be one winner. The winner will receive 25 tickets to a performance of The Drowsy Chaperone and a preshow reception for themself and their guests.
